Creed Cologne

Creed Green Irish Tweed is a masculine woody, floral musk fragrance comprised of top notes from iris and lemon verbena, middle notes of violet and basil, and a base of sandalwood and amber. This earthy, woody fragrance is recommended for daily wear but is elegant enough for evening wear. There are lots of imitators that smell similar but this is the real thing, a classic. Don't take my word for it, though. Compare it to Cool Water by Davidoff or Dolce & Gabbana by Dolce & Gabbana and see what's all the fuss about Green Irish Tweed.

Creed Silver Mountain Water is an aromatic fragrance, light and luxurious with a fresh softness that allows it to be worn by women or men. This scent is made up of violet, black currant, patchouli, black and green tea, with a light basenote of musk. It is recommended for daytime wear but I think it would be great for special occasions or evening wear. This is not a typical man cologne and might be something you want to sample before buying it. If you do get this and find it to be too feminine for you it would make a very special gift for the very special lady in your life. If you like Eternity by Calvin Klein or Bulgari Aqua Pour Homme you might enjoy Silver Mountain Water.

Creed Millesime Imperial was released in 1995, a masculine fragrance with notes of mandarin and lemon and a base of amber and musk but with a powdery floral touch to soften it. Recommended for daytime wear but this is a special cologne and it would be probably better suited for a special occasion or evening wear. Regardless of how you wear it expect a great, long lasting smell that will draw compliments from the ladies. I'm not sure what to compare it to for reference. I did remember to mention that the ladies tend to love this on men, right?

Creed Tabarome is a sophisticated, sensual fragrance, with top notes of ginger, bergamot, and mandarin, middle notes of vetiver and sandalwood, with a warm base of tea, tobacco, and musk. This is a masculine Creed colonge for the more mature customer, the heavier base lending itself equally to daytime office wear or evening formal wear and special occasions. It is a stronger cologne so apply it sparingly at first. There aren't many scents like this around today, but whenever you hear someone comparing this to others they bring out the old school names, like Givenchy Gentleman and Versace L'Homme.

Creed Original Santal is an oriental, woody fragrance with a top note of cinnamon, juniper and coriander, middle notes of lavender, orange tree, and ginger, and a soft, warm earthy base of tonka beans and vanilla. It is a softer cologne, versatile enough to be worn by a man or a woman, and would never be mistaken for Tabarome. Although it is not a terribly strong concentration, Creed Santal has a touch of sweetness that warms up as it dries down, one that some find overpowering. I would think this is best worn with evening wear or special occasions but for a younger man this might work well for daytime wear. If you have enjoyed Joop! Homme or Individuel by Mont Blanc you might enjoy Creed Original Santal.

First, don't shower with a soap or shampoo with a strong scent. You don't want your wonderful Creed cologne to have to compete with your funky supermarket bodywash.

Many of these colognes are concentrated and can be quite strong. It is best to apply them sparingly and then if you feel like you need more, add more. It is always easier to apply more than to take it off. One spray should be enough to begin.

Make sure to apply it lightly on your skin on your neck and upper chest where the body heat can help diffuse the scent. Hold the bottle 3 to 6 inches away for a light misting. Maybe just a little dab behind your ears and you should be set to enjoy your Creed Cologne for Men.
